About Nial Adams
So what do I do?
Quite simply; I help business grow using well tried and tested methods of marketing and sales. Good business isn’t ‘rocket science’ and yet so few people really understand how to get the basic mechanics right. There is a simple formula that every business, no matter what size, type or location, can follow. I’ll share with you what I’ve spent over twenty years learning that makes successful businesses tick and help you cut your learning curve in half!
I guess I could ramble on about my talents and expertise but I’d rather let my clients (past and present) tell you what they think… that seems much more appropriate!
“Nial Adams is one man who I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to rapidly grow their business. He has a unique knack for being able to see the big picture without losing sight of what you need to do, day-to-day, to make it happen. If you want more customers without any bull then you need to speak to Nial.”

“Nial, I’m getting there! Very busy, which is great. Had the daft idea to look at my cashflow, which I did when I first started. Apparently I’ve hit my month 30 target for cash in by month 7!! – That’ll teach me to work with you!!”

My Background:
I formed my very first business consultancy in 1989, I provided a blend of consulting, training and development skills designed to help the owners of other businesses tackle issues to help them grow and become successful. I’ve enjoyed working with clients of all types, from solo business owners to large corporates. This was an amazing period of my life helping me to hone my skills and knowledge. Above all I’m immensely proud of the reputation I worked hard to build and the amazing people I’ve had the real joy of getting to know (many of my clients I now consider personal friends).
In the late 1990′s I was appointed Development Director for the Better Business Institute in the UK and spent two years under the direct tutelage and mentorship of one of the UK’s leading business growth strategists. I also enjoyed recruiting, training and mentoring other business and marketing consultants. My material has been published widely and I’ve ‘appeared’ on both national radio and television in more than one country.
The Antidote Network – www.antidotenetwork.co.uk
In 2004 I founded the Antidote Network - and it’s turned out to be the fastest growing business group in Norfolk. Meeting in Norwich once a month it combines great speakers (top names!) with a fun, dynamic and informal way for people to meet and find out about business. Have a look at – www.theantidotenetwork.co.uk
Now, with three great partners (Roy Gough, Chris Liles & Steve Codman) helping me to grow this business I’m looking for those with an interest in helping this expand nationally.
Operating our training and development business from a base in Norfolk, I still find time to enjoy my two wonderful daughters Victoria and Ellie, outdoor pursuits, good food, music (of all types from ‘Goa Trance’ to Classical!). A couple of years ago I started to learn guitar; now I have an addiction for buying them (acoustic and electric). I enjoy travel and intend to venture towards India, Tibet and the Far East, which are all new to me. I enjoy a great meal and have a weakness for expensive Cuban cigars!
In addition, I have studied the traditional martial art of Hapkido for over twenty-eight years achieving rank as a 4th Dan Master of the art, although semi-retired now still occasionally travel teaching and developing students and coaches.
